Post: Suggestions for a crowdfunding platform

@Will Kern if you are accredited then one of the better platform in my mind is crowdstreet.  They do vetting of the sponsors and you are directly dealing with sponsors so usually their projected returns are better than let’s say realtymogul.  I have invested with fundrise too when I wasn’t aware of other crowdfunding platforms but returns are so minimal that I am glad I was just tasting out waters and didn’t go overboard.

@Gregory L. First of all congrats on getting that much from business that you sold by 19 years of age!  I believe at this age, you should concentrate on The One Thing that made you successful and that will magnify your success!  You can always partner with someone experienced in RE if you want to start investing for passive income.  If you don’t want to get distracted by that either than use fundrise or other crowdfunding platforms and let them manage your money (granted it will be lower return but it will free up your time).

@Julie Kern That's awesome that you did the retrospect and decided to not continue going from one job to another (wholesaling sounds like a job to me in the guise of business until you have a system and have people follow it for you)!  Yes that financial freedom and WHY can bring the clarity!  Good luck!

@Eli Mills FYI, Jillian Sidoti has been on many podcasts so you can find her information on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=jillian+sidoti).  I just heard her on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ2wbqyerM0&t=2403s where she gives background of when is it syndication and when not (and also her practical tip).

@Joshua Watts: what is involved in converting strip center into self storage?  Any numbers you can shed lights on? Are there any specialized vendors for this?  Would you be kind to put after images or any project plan to see how strip center entrance changes for self storage if any?

I had heard about investor’s bank from a colleague sometime back!

@Charles Kao: Can you give reference for some feasibility study firms?

Look at investor’s bank.  Congrats on great find!

@Londell Reedman, property doesn’t have to be rented for 6 months for seasoning requirement.  Property must have been purchased for 6 months and be rented.

@Amul Sutaria, I believe you asked this question 5 years ago too.  Is there anything that you’re hearing that gives you pause?
