@Jason K Green, What great experiences you have!  Welcome to the BP community.  I am right up the road from you in the Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley area and I've been investing mostly in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties and still there's so much to learn.  Every deal is different but if you commit to learning a couple of facets that you're interested in (such as fix and flip, wholesale, or buy and hold) depending on what your Real Estate Investment goals are, that will keep you from going stir crazy with all of the information.  

If you'd like to connect, we can share and compare our goals and discuss strategies for reaching our goals.  Perhaps we can leverage from each other's strengths and networks.  It's all about relationships.  If you're working on something and have questions, perhaps I can help to point you in the right direction.
