HI ALL

I HAD LEASED AN APARTMENT A MONTH AGO, AND NOW THE TENANT WANTS ME TO RENT AN ADDITIONAL ROOM IN BASEMENT, WE BOTH AGREE TO REWRITE THE WHOLE LEASE FOR AN ADDITIONA $100 FROM $1200 TO $1300, HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT THIS TO DISQUALIFY THE OLD LEASE?

    THANK YOU

@Adrian Orgill after I spoke to the tank removal company and they said that they do not think it will be an issue I did close with a $10,000 escrow from seller, and thank god everything was good.

(but 1 problem, i needed to fix the landscaping, it is a good idea to write in contract that seller will be responsible for that)

    GOOD LUCK

Hi Sami, I have been having same issue at one of my buildings in CT I tried warning the tenants several times about the clutter in common spaces, when that didn’t work I decides to post this notice directly on there belongings:

NOTICE

Tenants are responsible for storing all of their property in their units. To ensure the safety of all residents and maintain the appearance of common areas, all items left in common areas will be disposed of without notice after the date above.( I would then write a date at the top of the notice about a week out from when I post these)

After this date I plan on storing their belongings for 30 days in a neighboring building. If I do not hear anything by the end of those 30 days I will dispose of anything that is left.

Please feel free to use this:

I hope this helps

Thank you, sounds good. just wondering if this is 100% legal ? (this is the type of tenant that is always busy saying that they know their rights...)

I have a rule In my buildings that Nothing is allowed in hallways, all tenants are compliant. one tenant recently started puuting out stuff, her mop and bucket, big kids bike etc. I have asked her please not to keep it there so she answered "I'll try my best", and she is leaving it there, is there anything I can do about it?

. Thank you

@Joe Splitrock THANK YOU, i have heard that argument in past but never understood the problem, why would it be different than letting the sink open for half an hour and washing dishes, i never heard this should be an issue

@Joe Splitrock @Theresa Harris thanks for responding.

from my understanding there are those portable machines that do not require hook up. and i would obviously charge a fee as mentioned in post

HI,

i have a 8 unit building without a washer and dryer hookup, a prospective tenant wants to move in if i allow washer and dryer.

should i allow? what are the pros and cons? and what would be a reasonable fee for that if yes?

  thanks
