@Ben Harrietha

Hey Ben,

I have similar ambitions as yourself, and am targeting the Spokane market as well. I don't have any properties in the area as of yet but was born and raised in Spokane. If you have any questions about the area or are in need of some contacts feel free to PM me I would be happy to help!

Hey BP,
I'm a big fan of the show Undercover Billionaire on discovery channel. And because I like to learn how entrepreneurial minds think, I would like to hear from successful real estate investors how they would play the game.

Contest: You are dropped off in a city where you have no connections, and your goal is to create a million dollar business in 90 days. You only have $100 in your pocket and a old beat up car.

I realize that the specifics might change how you go about this task (E.g. what city your in, what time of year, during a pandemic, how big the city is). What I would like to hear is what big actions you would take to accomplish this goal. And hopefully that would translate to any scenario.

Ready go......

Buy a home with a larger lot. Advertise it as a space to park your tiny home rent to them. Or buy a container home pre-built rent it out as air B&B. When its time to sell if that's your plan remove the items from the property and its an attractive SFR again.

@Nathan Jensen Thanks for the response. Are you seeing a boom in new construction as well?

@Daniel Goldfinger

Flip a coin. I suffer from "optimal syndrome" myself, and I think when we look back 30 years from now the important thing will have been that we made the jump not the details of it. If you look at data you can convince yourself either way what is the best market to start in. Live wherever you enjoy more, life is short! Just my 2 cents.

As a house hacker who's tenants live next door we give them Christmas baked goods. I think if they are living next to you it is REALLY important to let them know you are humans not just a faceless entity. I think it is possible to establish good boundaries, but also treat your tenants as customers and people.

@Shiloh Lundahl
Easy....take the million.

1) All of us give our million's to Shiloh
2) He invest it in all the mobile home parks in Arizona
3) We all now have $30,000 a month cash flow
4) Play golf, get sunburned, and take lots of naps

Pretty simple math.

Hey Twin Falls investors and real estate professionals!

Wanted to find out from local professionals what you have seen in the past year impacting your market. For example has there been high demand for rentals following the trend of the Western United States? Have rent's been increasing, decreasing, or remaining stable? Is there just as much demand in the multi-family space as the SFR? Is new construction able to keep up with population demand? Thanks in advance!
