Bend BP-ers- Does anyone want to learn about ADU's? A great chance is coming THIS WEEK!

I believe that there's an all-day event on Saturday (paid), but for a quick lesson and chance at questions, I'd suggest looking into Green Drinks event. See here: https://envirocenter.org/event/green-drinks-adus/

If anyone is planning to go, let me know!

@Alison Fountain and @Paul Singer - You definitely came through on the tator tots! :)

I really enjoyed the time last night - it was my first BP event and was definitely motivating to talk to all of you smart people! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if I can help!

@Karen Margrave, Yep, as @Paul Singer said, it shouldn't be an issue. I'll be there. :)

@Karen Margrave- You got it. Thanks for the headsup.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about 1031's!

That's a tiny amount of space- I wouldn't suggest a big investment, such as a casita or mother-in-law unit. Honestly, some foliage and a few basic chairs could create a peaceful outdoor space for very low investment- maybe wait on the building decision and have this in the meantime.

My tenants seem like angels after this! Thanks for sharing to give the rest of us some perspective.

Wow, I'd be afraid to buy something that's been on the market for four years as your first purchase? Consider all of the others who found reason to pass it by- I'd have to figure there may be something you don't see or realize.

I'm all for jumping in, but if you had evidence of others who were interested in a property, it could help to be a second opinion on your purchase decision. In 4 years, nobody else came to the ultimate purchase decision, yikes.

How does the most recent tax plan shift YOUR real estate strategy? I understand the changes and how I'm considering my own portfolio, but I'd like to hear others' thoughts as well.

Thanks for putting this information together, it's great!

My 2 cents is to try to organically build your network (not just 'friend list') by getting to know people and providing value to them!

If you are interested in investing in Oregon, let's chat!

Thanks
