Are they paying rent?

Did you buy on Auction?

Why do you expect they would cooperate with you

You are not doing the move out process correctly. Check your lease and at least call Sec8 and find out the process of terminating the lease.

@Sai T. I have not informed her that Sec8 will be notified. I did tell her that if we go through an eviction process, it will be very difficult for her to rent again. I will try to reach her and advise her that Section 8 frowns upon evictions. Hopefully someone at Section 8 can get through to her. Can I continue to accept payment from the Section 8 agency? I heard that you cannot accept payment from a tenant if you are trying to evict them... Is that true? Also, what do you mean by LA?

I don’t know if she is planning to sue you!

@Sai T. what do you mean by "preparing for another disability case". She is already on disability? Do these cases need to be renewed?

Sec8 needs to know also if the participant moving out. Sec8 need to do paper work etc.

Did you tell her if she doesn’t move out, you are going to inform Sec8?

Maybe she is preparing for another disability case on your property!

Very long story. Did you tell Sec8 when you gave her Move out notice?

Didn’t Sec8 agency name included in the LA ?

This maybe your 1st property. My 2 cents do not take decisions based on your emotions and “flowers and decorations”

If he’s really a “good tenant” he should agree to the market rent too!

In PA and NJ buyers responsible for choosing and hiring title Co.  For peace of mind hire an attorney to review the closing docs but there’s nothing much attorney can do.

What’s RepC ?

How did come up with Sale price. Did you get the appraisal.
