An existing air conditioner  outside unit does not have shut off switch.

Buyer is asking to you install it.

I’m not willing to spend money to install for them. Share your suggestion please.

Thank you

Your smarter question would be...Should I replace it?  And we think you know the answer.

 Just chill Bro

BTW I have full insurance coverage no problems!

Anyway thanks for your feedback

Hello Everyone

I’m selling a home in NJ and inspector found (I knew it). Small fuse box and buyer wants it to be replaced with circuit breaker panel.

Almost 70 years old home.

Am I required to replace the fuse box or grandfather rule applies ?

I won’t say you rent to single Mom but I will advise you not to rent 3 party animals!

As far as I know “Is it needed if I'm just replacing cabinets and/or counter tops? “NO

Generally New plumbing connection

New electric work/outlets etc

HVAC and Structure layout changes

Additions etc requires but every township has different rules and regulations.

Most states have 1 month SD so if lease started with $1,000 rent but after 13 years, it’s is $1,500 then SD has to match the rent. In NJ 1 and 1/2 months for SD.

9 years is a long time. Be reasonable and do not get greedy. Normally wear and tear and some damage is part of tenancy.
