This seems to be a classic marital problem. I use the motto when 2 people can't agree bring in a third person. Sometimes it's a councilor. In this case my creative solution is find a real estate mentor and have lunch with them, you and your spouse. Have them confirm your numbers and answer his objections.
Pretty good ideas for people starting the same way. Accidental landlord to hey I think I can do another one. Very smart getting the process down and then also getting good people.
Ended up being air conditioner pan leaking.

Hey Bp, Moved to Washington around Seattle area and been hearing a lot about a market crash. When I look st graphs on zillow it's definitely peaked. What are you guys doing ? Should i continue to rent?? Try and buy a foreclosure. Thanks.

Hey BP,

Have a property in Texas. More of a accidental land-lord due to a out of town job move. I had just brought the property earlier in the year so I could not sell it before I moved.

It has been 2 months but with the recent hail damage the tenant is mentioning that there are leaks in the roof.

Currently I am at a loss on how to move forward. Need some advice. Do I just put the claim in to insurance? Do I get a contractor out there? Was hoping not to have problems this early on but guess that is life.

Thanks,

-Steve

Hey bigger pockets. Starting a new job in Kent wa. Just rented out my house in Texas. Thanks to bigger pockets but need advice on where to live / buy a home in bearish Kent wa. I have 2 kids so school district kinda important thanks.

Hey @Steve S. ,

I just recently used the

One from Bigger pockets. It was really great. https://biggerpockets.mysmartmove.com/

Also I rented out in a really nice neighborhood and the tenants were nice. I was renting out my own home so I had to do something fast and it was.

I didn't even think about other methods and if in the future I am renting out a lower income home. I would probably also check the sex registry as well.
