Post: Bandit Signs: When should I post signs?

I am aware of putting them out on Friday evening then taking them down Sunday, but that won't work for me this round.

My plan is to put them out on Saturday afternoon and leave them up for two or three weeks (if they last that long) then put more up.

Is there any reason I shouldn't want to put them up on Saturday afternoon? Other than the increase in traffic.

Thanks!

Mike D'Arrigo, Ciprian L., and Victor B. I'm glad you all like it! Thanks so much for the feedback!

Blake Anderson Thanks for that comment! We were going for a more modern design =)

James Vermillion I love that place... Never been inside the walls, but man is that a phenomenal looking 'house' ha I'm surprised they don't have unicorns rather than horses.

Marion Edwards You're right on! Thanks so much for the feedback!

Mike D'Arrigo & Ciprian L. Thank you for the feedback!

Both will be used, I'm sure, in certain scenarios.

(I think I like the thicker walls on the home in the 2nd logo)

I spoke with Jena about making them bigger.

Brian Mathews I'm not totally sure how much they would fine us. My wife is really nervous about it. I've posted some personal information about our finances into my blog. Basically saying that we are about $200 negative cash flow a month after August and have $6000 tied up in a loan we gave to my 18 year old brother n law.

Needless to say, a fine would definitely set us back and my wife would be "upset" to say the least ha

Dev Horn I totally agree! I have no desire to do bandit signs! That's why I'm investing in a sick website =]

I have heard about the Friday Up and Sunday Down technique... that's a lot of driving... I can't afford somebody else to go do it right now, but I'll probably man up and get it done at least the first time or two.

I think I can pull an ignorant newbie position the first time... Hope that nothing happens? or maybe just a warning?

1) I have my Google Voice number forwarding to a cellphone I bought
2) I have (50) bandit signs with that number on it
3) I have an answering service
4) I used the Google Voice number on my BiggerPockets account, a Classified Ad, a Wufoo form for bird dogs to submit a house, and my website.......

So, when you Google search the phone number... it basically pops up with my information online.

I deleted each form that had the number, but it still is available in the search.

I'm waiting to see if it wipes over the next couple of days.

Here's my question:
Should I change my number so that it has no ties back to me? The number right now is Two 9 Six - 5 Six 9 9. How great of a number is that?!

I'll be honest, I'm kinda worried about code enforcement.

Thoughts?

James Vermillion your logo is right along the Lexington style =)

Jena and I lived out there for about two years before moving here to Indianapolis.

She has family that lives in Lancaster and was born in Russell Springs by Lake Cumberland.

You should put that Castle off Versailles Rd(?) on your website!

Brandon Krieg Will do! Thanks for the feedback!

Ned Carey haha that reply cracks me up! I am glad you like how it grabs one's attention and can leave a lasting impression =) Great detail in the feedback! I love that.

The website will be completed in the next 3-5 weeks. I'm sure it will impress you both more so than the logo.

The logo at least lets me make a Facebook page now!

My Wife Jena is a graphic designer and put this together =)

I love it and I feel like it really captures our branding.

Hey Tracey!

It's great to see another Hoosier on BiggerPockets! Even better that you are in Indianapolis instead of the NW or NE...

My wife and I live in Noblesville and are starting off wholesaling properties in Indianapolis below $100k retail.

I'll send you a PM so we can chat a little more in depth about what you are looking for and where.
