@Ashley Hughes I recommend a free software to use because, first off, it's free and, secondly, it is just so much easier to do the rental process online. Free online rental applications will be digital and using a software that has tenant screening (the applicant pays not the landlord) will ensure you are getting a reliable and trustworthy tenant! On Bigger Pockets on the top, if you click tools, then under services click landlord resources, there are some options listed - here is the link: https://www.biggerpockets.com/tools/landlord-resources! Go to tools, services, and then click on landlord resources - there are softwares for free online rental applications, tenant screening, marketing, and much more! @Account Closed Congrats on starting with your first property! Software is definitely a must for self-managing and makes the landlording process much more efficient. Most softwares are free to landlords as well which is a bonus!
