thanks for the broker hat! It's good to know what the demand is and what people are liking...we are total beach people and always stay beachfront, or two houses away....but I like to see things from other's perspectives to be aware of all opportunities!

Thanks for the info! A few more follow up questions:

-Are there beaches in Cape Coral? I looked it up, and info seems to allude they are a 15-20 minute drive away...

-Do you know off hand which counties do not allow short term rentals in SW Florida? That will easily narrow down our search of possible locations to invest in.

Perhaps contact other manufactured home companies that are based or sell in California and ask them how they obtained their license?

Perhaps the front door could be a terra cotta/ rust color that would tie in with the color of the brick foundation? Not sure of budget, but a wood door could look nice too. 

is the accent paint (trim) in good condition?

We are actually targeting  the same concept, but for our generation (in our 30's) that want to live a minimalist lifestyle. Many are over the the huge SF homes. They want a good design, small, and easy to manage so they can travel and do the things they want in life (not just tied to a giant mortgage & spending time taking care of their house).
