Post: QOTW: What can you share about the Pros and Cons of Partnerships?

How many partners do you have? Several for different acquisitions and purposes

How did you find your partner? How long had you known one another? Friends, acquaintances, co-workers

What kind of partnership was it? LLC

Tell us about the property: Mobile home parks, Real Estate Brokerage, Apartment

How did you decide on tasks and delegation?  Operating agreement and meeting minutes after discussion

What worked? meeting frequently

What didn't work? When trust is broken

What REALLY didn't work? When confronting distrust and lack of resolution

What was the outcome of your partnership? Greater results than if I tried to do it alone.

Any other thoughts?

Brett,

I'm here in Bellingham and am familiar with the market. I'm a real estate investor and a real estate agent. I have bought, sold, rehabbed, owned and developed land in Bellingham. I currently own and manage a 6-plex on D St. Happy to share a cup of coffee w/ you to talk it through. I'm a good listener and sometimes just thinking out loud opens a pathway to the solution.

Samuel,

You may want to consider Bellwether Real Estate as a place to hang your license. They are a group of real estate investors that formed a brokerage for other real estate investors. By investors, for investors.

They have options to be on a team, or work from home. I work there and love it!

Hi Mark,

I'm a real estate investor and broker here in Bellingham Washington.  This is a great area to live for sure! What's bringing you to Bellingham?

Vacancy rate for rentals in Bellingham is extremely low. There are deals to be had, but there's not much low hanging fruit. What specifically would you like to know about our area and the market?

Right now, prices are increasing and inventory is decreasing. We have less than 3 months inventory so it's definitely a sellers market.

I've been able to steadily increase rents on my properties over the past couple of years.

Looking forward to connecting with you.
