@Jonathan Chan Yes,RE investing can be passive.Learn about triple net leasing RE to operating companies or management firms. As lessor they pay for all maintenance, taxes and insurance. There is no management of property managers.

@Jen Lochpay $2k-2.5k and get a cost segregation study done after renovations are finished. 
Get a different CPA who understands and has experience with real estate and STR investing.

@Stephen Edsall what is a “ great outcome” in terms of cash on cash return in 2024? This would include property and furnishings.

What is the range of your mo HOA fees o your 3 props.?
