Post: Referral for wholesalers in DFW area

My partner and I are ready to start looking for a property in the DFW market. I have an idea of the particular areas I want to look in, and I’m wondering who has a positive review for a wholesaler they have worked with? Particularly on the West side of DFW? We need to start analyzing some deals. I’m ideally looking for a referral here.

Thank you for sharing your experience!

@Hayden Harrington man I appreciate it! I’m not there yet, so I won’t waste your time. But soon enough! Although I’ll keep that in mind for other investor friends.

@Hayden Harrington intriguing a group on FB I’m for multi family and a lot are in DFW. It seems challenging to find that niche in DFW! Do you see a lot of small multi family?

@Angelina Essuman congrats! Sounds like you and I are in very similar places and goals! I’ve be devouring books and the BP podcast! Which episode was it that you referenced earlier in the thread?

We tend to BRRR all of our properties.

@Amanda Mack Funny, I've been looking big picture, in general at the market particularly on the Fort Worth side, and it seems that we don't have the 2-4 unit-plexes that other markets have. Is that what you find as well?

Whitney can you explain a portfolio loan? Is that like a refinance of multiple properties at once under one loan?

Edgar, go google 1957 Airstream Caravanner. It has the panoramic windows all down the left side of the shell. Its a pretty awesome, and rare model. Currently its in New Mexico. The new ones are nice as well, but the old ones have more charm :-)

Hi all! While driving through River Oaks a few times, I'm noticing some new custom construction in the old run down neighborhoods. However I'm not seeing any changes in the commercial side around the neighborhoods, but its relatively close to all the nice areas of Fort Worth anyways. Has anyone analyzed this area for potential investing?

@Ryan Blake man I appreciate it. I saw a list of local ones from Andrew Postell here on BP. Which one are you referencing?

@Ryan Blake how big of a deal are school districts for you when you determine where you want to invest? In reference to stop 6 and north side.

Also, have you run into any trouble with Fort Worth’s viewpoint on Airbnb and short term rentals?
