@David Doyle We just purchased a foreclosure that has been sitting for mths. The water smells like rotten eggs when we turn it on, ant recommendations. I turned on all hot water and let if run out to see it that will help when I check it tomorrow. BTW it is city water and an electric water heater.

@Ursula B. Did you close? I am under contract and hoping to close with Fannie in January, but have heard they can cancel closing anytime.

@Joe Villeneuve There was no real rationale. I felt like I low balled and my realtor called and they said offer was too low, My agent suggested we go up 5k. They accepted right away...of course I felt like we should have offered lower!

I offered 12 K under they ignored me, after one week I offered 7k and they accepted!

The property taxes are approx. 1200$ yearly and I'm not sure about the hazard insurance yet. I will definitely update you once I rent the place!
