My 2 bedrooms generally take 90 minutes per turnover without laundry. The one that I have laundry done onsite generally takes 2 to 2-1/2 hours. But no extra beds or air mattresses at that one.

@Jordan Hanks I have 3 sets of everything so that there is one in use, one in storage, and one being laundered. Sometimes only 2 sets are used but that third set is handy and makes it less stressful. My housekeepers do laundry off site for most cleans.

@David Lant there is always the option of using some of the STR profit for living expenses while using the rest for paying off properties.

Have you done STR yet? You know it can be a full time job, especially with numerous properties, depending on the level of hospitality you decide to provide?

@David Lant why not touch the profit from the STRs for 8 years? I’m guessing you want to pay off the properties with the cash flow from them within the 8 years?

@Tim Viviano not in Innsbrook, but nearby in Marthasville. I bought an historical 1900 bank building with original vaults and turned it into a 4 bedroom vacation rental. I call it the Bank Haus. My Katy Haus next door is a one bedroom that I gutted and rehabbed.
