Do you happen to know any good property management contacts or people to help self-manage from out of state?

@Matthew John I recently invested in Warren and now I’m having to deal with City of Warren Rental Inspection Division. They are saying I cannot rent from out of state and need to have a property manager or friend acting as a property manager to manage the property. Have you heard about this before and do you have any references for good PMs. I honestly don’t need one, because I have the rent and maintenance all set up between the tenant and I, but it seems like I’m going to have to get one so that I am not in violation of city code. 

@Megan Heffernan Yes! I first connected with some of the group moderators here on BiggerPockets first. I tagged them so you can connect with them as well. They are extremely helpful and both have a lot of knowledge. They also both have monthly meet ups.
