Be careful who you listen to for advice even if it comes from family who loves you and is well-intentioned. Although they have fears of their own they pass those fears along to others around them. Surround yourself with positive like-minded people. Go find plenty of those here at the BP community. It was brought up earlier however I will mention it again, Jim Rohn is an excellent mentor to listen to. I have read the Robert Allen series of books, and recently have completed a Creative Financing course and was surprised, I loved the course.  I didn't think I would like or enjoy it as much as I had found the information very interesting in solving financial problems and putting deals together.

I'll check the book out.

Do retailers buy cookies at a discount?  Do shoe stores buy shoes at a discount? The answers to these questions are all "yes".  ...So Is there any money in being a 'wholesaler?'

A resounding 'Yes'.  Do the work, you'll get the pay.

Looks like a Cottage White Neutral for the main portion, and a red door to make the place 'pop' and draw attention to the entrance;  good choice

Invest where you can afford to invest, it does not necessarily need to be in your back yard.   Study and know your market before you invest.  If you are at a distance too far from your home, it's very important to build relationships and form a team to be the eyes and ears in the location you choose.   Realtor, property manager, etc. and also get acquainted with the neighbors of the properties next to your own.

Is this book similar to "No Money Down" written by Robert Allen in 1980?  If not, what differences will the book have?
