Hi,

I am from Boston area where I already invest in MF, and I am looking to expand my portfolio. I am thinking of expanding to hot markets where there are lot of job growth, areas like Austin, Dallas, or Tampa etc. I would like to know what other real estate investors think when it comes to investing, should I just look for deals around Boston area or at this time it's good to invest in the areas I mentioned instead of Boston area.

Also, if you could suggest which areas have good potential and what type of properties would be best.

Thanks in advance,

-Yuzi

@Brad Washburn !, $500-$800K MF is certainly doable in the areas you mentioned. I bought mine MF in that range in Malden. Revere, Chelsea is even slightly cheaper than Malden/ Medford area. I am an investor plus agent who assists investors and other clients buying their SF or MF properties. Most duplexes around this area will probably fall in that range, triplexes might be little hard or you might find some in upper 750s.

Let me know if you would like to connect to discuss more.

Thanks,

Yuzi

@Rohan Thakker , Yeah that's a good idea, lots of people are interested in STR right now as lot of folks are working remotely. Condos are great choice esp around Boston area with interest rates being historical low. Only thing you would have to watch out for is HOA fee, but there are some condos around Medford/ Malden area where HOA covers Heat, Hot water etc.

Let me know if you need help finding a condo/townhouses around Boston suburb
