Medicine.  

After the science degree, I worked as a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, but all I wanted to do was teach percussion.

Nothing moves without diesel; ships, trains, trucks - food, medicine, supplies and on and on all rely on affordable and available diesel.

For the the rent control initiative that was voted down, the same guy, with lots of money from selling AIDS Medicine (claims rent control is somehow related), is back for round 2.

I love Gardening (Organic), I grow medicinal herbs and make teas, Beekeeping (we just started back after my husband lost his hives several years ago); Nature Photography, Antiquing and Flea Markets (Pre-Covid we were planning to drive around the country going to different flea markets and antique fairs in our vintage Airstream; but those plans are on hold), Tai-Chi (Love it!)

Engineering requires same intelligence and ability as other highly paid fields of study like Medicine, Law, Finance etc. 

Following your logic, we shouldn't need a license to drive a car or practice medicine.
