I was showing a SFH for rent the other day, Not quite as colourful as the characters @Stephen E. had.But I had 3 interesting ones, one applicant said they have a few pets I mentioned its okay we will still consider it,after showing the unit some casual questions a few pets turned into a travelling pet expo show!

If it has so much sun during the day, i prefer not to use dark colors because it fades in time (hopefully you won't own the property by then, but i always want to do renovations in a way that it will last longer for the buyer too).For interior colour, i prefer anything with hues of champagne, it is warmer than white or off white but calmer than yellow.

You can get a 5 gallon pail or some mis-tints.If there are kids, you can ask them what colours they like and paint an accent wall in their bedrooms with that colour...obviously you get to pick the shade.

I use primer if it is bare drywall or if the original colour was very dark compared to the new colour.

Use words in the listing to indicate that maybe it is not for small children without ever mentioning age: A freshly rehabbed unit including newly painted in a beautiful delicate white.
