Probably not worth it on a $350 order but on a $3,500 one it is a good use of time.BTW at least at HD GCs can be bought with a HD Card and can count towards the financing deals.

That's why it's always carried on side like drywall. 2cm might be thin like the bathroom granite that HD and Costco sell for their vanities.I pay about $30 per square foot plus another $200 for 60/40 sink and installation.

I used the Lifeproof from HD- it has a underlayment attached to it already and specifically states to NOT use additional underlayment under it.

And if the materials are also provided by them , no matter wht tier they mention in SOW , unless you have the SKU number noted , expect to get the cheapest stuff available in HD or Lwes .This is in no way meant to discourage you  , its just to raise awareness - I have been through a similar process and have learned these as I did more and more researchI can probably write another 10 pages - abt contract paper work , lender , closing costs , attorney , first draw and so on .

You can go to Lowes or HD and get their entry level granite for $50/ft^2 installed.
