Not sure if your city offers it, but one option is to have the local police department neighborhood conflict resolution department get involved. 

I'm sure their is a mutually equitable resolution here.

And for less money, you could have purchased a used stove from a used appliance store.When it comes to items like stoves and refrigerators, I would rather find a solution that didn't take two weeks from tenant notification to the resolution of the problem. 

I find no fault in my decisions and am resolute in my beliefs.
