The only specific item I can remember is an issue with the purchase price.

Photo documentation is brilliant and, while we take photos of pretty much everything else along the way, I never thought about photo documenting those specific items. 

If its large purchases with specific items id make the purchase myself.

First and foremost,contact the university student housing authority to ask for their guidelines for renting to their students and advertising your rental with them.They may want a through inspection of the property,fire extinguishers installed as well as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms,and other specific items you must have to attain their endorsement.Ask them about rents that can be charged,appliances needed,and any special policies you must adhere to.

Allowances are just buckets of money held for that specific item.

Ok, those specific items should also show up in the court docket (at least they do where I am located).

And especially @Sam Parkins , Thank you for the very detailed break down of the different costs and specific items to discuss with movers.

It could be specific items on the inspection report.
