A job I love, all my family, a church community I grew up in.

Hey guys I am a local investor from MD however I work out of Falls Church VA most days. 

That is the best advice I got from a church friend that has rentals as well.

Your church or community center may have opportunities to mentor or teach a personal finance program to adults wanting to change the legacy of their family.Take your kid to your financial planner/broker:   After a 30 minute chat with my broker, my 18 year old daughter said "I learned more in that 30 minutes than in 4 years of high school" (on subject of money).  

Any deal that (not said literally ) requires you to go to church every Sunday and pray for a good outcome is a deal that's not good enough. 

.* 25K middle program they give you a couple of properties minor hand holding through their pipeline to keep you happy (maybe if you dont get burned and loose money on the deal) before they disappear* 35K for mastery this is the big upsell they let you in the inner circle like church of scientology your paying to be their friend and they have to funnel you deals that the top guys don't want first so they feed you some deals to keep you happy and hold your hand.

Because he is a friend from my church, I didn't even want to start down the road of asking more questions until I was completely ready to move forward.

When we are home we volunteer at our church (actually my wife is still employed part time doing what she loves) and spend time with family.
