I attended a conference call that as an investor sounded interesting.

They are always on a conference call and never have a update when it will funds.

This weekend I was lucky enough to attend an MFIN - Multi Family Investor Network - conference here in Colorado and see BiggerPockets CEO @Scott Trench share the stage with @Ben Suttles and @Feras Moussa talking about the future of real estate investing, plus a number of other keynote presentations and informative breakout sessions.

Some of that money also ended up going toward extending my networking efforts by going to conferences, and some coaching in the wholesaling space.

It takes networking at REIA meetings, meetups and real estate conferences.  

Regular 1-1.5hr long phone conference meetings with two specialists that were assigned to us (and we still keep in touch with as questions arise to this day).
