The long story short is the 8 unit has 8 gas meters for the units cooking, but the 9th meter is the house meter and fires and OLD furnace, I have all the utility bills including the bad winter months. 

The other, in Capt Cook, Big Island, had bugs all over the place and when we arrived there were people already staying there and they double booked.  

I sacrificed by working two jobs, 80 hour weeks, clipping every coupon possible before going to the market, shopping around to find the best deal on essentials, living in a cramped one bedroom apartment, walking to work, not going on vacations, cooking at home, saving and investing every penny I could by living well below our means.

Easiest check is pour some Gatorade into the tank when you’re doing spring or fall smoker alarm pokes. 15 min later if there’s colour in the bowl you need a flapper.

@Chris Baxter we're insured with Cooke Insurance, as far as I know they do larger MF as well, could be wrong though

Artificially low rates have been "cooking the books".
