Paul is a landlord friendly city. 

The city's rate site is a bit confusing to me.

Anyway, Houston is a big city and Texas is a big state so there’s lots of opportunity.

There is some type of official paperwork that you file with your city/county that when the buyer tries to close on the property with the seller, your contract shows up as part of the chain of title.

As a former Cream City resident, I'm interested in looking at deals there.

Markets in terms of state specific then to City specific.

@Jessica Wood you can always ask the city to shut off the water at the street.

The city zoning has the home listed as single family, but the previous owner added in a second meter for the basement it looks like.It would be advantageous for me to have it appraised and classified as single family since it will me a lower down payment, but the lender has indicated he thinks the appraiser will say it’s multi since the basement has a kitchen.I’m unfamiliar with the specifics on this situation.
