adding an Electric meter

I currently have 6 apartments in a building.  There was room to add 2 more apartments where a store front used to be.  I can not seem to get a straight answer from the electric company to a ball park price to add the two new meters.  Does anyone know about how much a new meter costs?

Doesn't the store front have its own meters currently?

It must be on the house meter.  I have 7 meters for the building.  6 apartments plus the common area meter

It is all going to depend on the building layout, etc.  Without pictures it is hard to determine.  Also, I am assuming that this is most likely a 400amp service, which will generally be more costly to upgrade.  The materials alone for commercial services have increased significantly in recent years.
