I listen to the latest Mobile Home Park Investors podcast episode #31 about Using technology to manage your mobile home park. I thought it would be a great topic to discuss here and share tools we use to operate the mobile home park(s).

What tools do you use?

How do you use them?

@Xavier Maestas Every state is different. Here is in PA we need to go to a Title & Tag company and transfer title (looks like a car title) from a seller name to a buyer name. The title company then file it with DMV. Your state probably has different rules.

@John Fedro  website has more information for newbies.

@James Thammarath  We have around 2000 parks in our list. Those are only parks in PA state. 30% or more are small parks (19 lots or less). We use simple strategy 100 mailers every week. This way we have time to find the owners information, prepare mailers and send it out. Also, we do cold calling every day. Nothing crazy - one call per day.

@William Simmons it depends on what you are trying to do. Do you plan to use the land for something? How much does it worth to use? Is it asset or liability?

@Andy Sturm did you have any problem with the meter? I own a mobile home community and I need to install 32 meters. A plumber estimated the job and specified Neptune T-10 Hydro Water Meter. I just want to make sure it is good quality meter.
