Tell me about your first real estate deal how did you find it ?was it a house hack?what did you learn? Was it profitable?
the first property I purchased was in Cleveland back in 2005 a single family that I purchased for 22k cash and i rehabbed it after work and on weekends this property was in the hood I put 12k in it put a tenant in and sold it for 79k to investor who an real estate agent referred me.

Me personally as someone who went through the crash in 08 I like free and clear doesn’t mean I don’t have any bank financed mortgages but those properties I have pulled all my cash back out of those properties. But I’m a free clear guy.
If you are looking for private lenders best place to start would be family and friends and people who are in your inner circle.

I would suggest the Cleveland market and we are now marking inroads in the Milwaukee area. Both great cash flowing cities.
