I host a weekly investor meeting in [WA] State every Wednesday. Tonight we discussed building a business plan, started a legal entity, and establishing goals. I showed this video (link below) to the group and I think it really hit home. I encouraged them, and I'll encourage you to download this clip. Set it as your wake up alarm. Listen to it during the day. Use it as the fire you light under yourself to not just become an expert as far as real estate investing education, but to motivate yourself to take action. If you've built a good system, TRUST that system! TRUST in you!
Hope this pumps you up as much as it did our group tonight!

Our weekly Investor Meeting is taking a Field Trip! Welcome to our very first case study! For this event, I've chose an REO home that is actively listed on the MLS. We will tour the property, then discuss and analyze the property to determine if it's something we want to dig deeper on, and to determine our Estimated Maximum Allowable Offer.
We will discuss Market Value, After Repair Value, Estimated Repair Costs, and Profit Margins.

This is an opportunity for you to see my analysis system where the rubber meets the road!
Bring a notepad and pen, and flashlight! You'll need it!

This week's event will be discussing the idea of setting up goals, business plans, and legal entities.
Whether you are a real estate investor, or you want to be one, these 3 things are a critical part to any operation.
We'll discuss why they are important, and as always we will discuss tools, strategies, and resources that revolve around our topic.

Hey @Tony Wooldridge. That is on the docket. I've had that question quite a few times. I'm working on the infrastructure and software to make that happen. I doubt it will be in time for Wednesday, but know it is in the works. Thanks!

This week's meeting revolves around estimating repairs for a fix and flip, or rental property. We'll talk about the tools, strategies, and resources available to the everyday person to help you get a ballpark of renovation costs. From appliances, to flooring, to landscaping, we'll talk about how to figure out what kind of a number you're dealing with when it comes to renovating your investments, and how to use that number in your analysis.
We'll talk about the psychology of estimating repairs, and why it's so important that you become an expert of this section of the analysis.
