@Matthew Rollo, welcome to BP! You're in the right place. As a former military (Navy) and family man myself, I understand the struggle. What do you want to do with your license? I'm available to meet in Orlando if you like. I own 4 units, I'm a newly licensed agent, and I quit my W2 job a month ago. Wouldn't have been possible for me to go into REI (and being an agent) full time without the monthly rental income and cash reserves.

@Raj Maraj, welcome to BP! You're in the right place. My properties are in Jacksonville and Chattanooga, and I'm currently completing my MBA through UF (Gainesville).

@Jorge Mendez, welcome to BP! You're in the right place. I live and work in Orlando, and my properties are located in Jacksonville and Chattanooga. My next investments will be in the Orlando area. I have market reports on the Central Florida market (Orlando Metro) and I'm happy to help in any way that I can.

@Chandler Canepa, welcome to BP! You're in the right place. If your eyes do indeed turn to Florida, I'm currently working with several investors from California and New York who are seeking the same. I have market reports on the Central Florida (Orlando Metro) market.

I'm local to this area and I'm familiar with Champions Gate in Davenport. My own properties are in Jacksonville, Chattanooga, and soon Orlando as well. What would you like to know?

@Kirt Gill, welcome to BP! You're in the right place. Congratulations on completing medical school. As a former pharmaceutical sales rep, I've had my share of interactions with medical residents. As you begin to consider the cash flow opportunities outside California, you may consider the Orlando Metro Area for its historically low vacancy rates (around 3%), very low unemployment, fast appreciation, and sustained population growth.

@Maxwell Stroup, Welcome to BP! You're in the right place. As an agent and investor myself, I'm happy to help in any way that I can. I also have market reports on the Orlando Metro Area. PM me.

@Max K., welcome to BP! You're in the right place. I own property in Jacksonville, but my next investments will be in Orlando. The Central Florida market (Orlando Metro) growth rate is second only to Fort Meyers while Jacksonville is 4th. Orlando has the added distinction of sitting high and dry in the middle of the state, about 50 ft above sea level and well away from the worst of any hurricane damage.
