Been doing analysis of the package sales and small apt complex. So far getting financing for small apt complex is fairly simple if you have 20-25% down. Do banks finance a package of SFH and MFH properties. I am talking in the $500k-$700k range. If so what is the product called? Maybe I am not asking for the right thing. Any help is appreciated.

@Brie Schmidt - Definitely check out the Castello di Amorosa winery.  http://www.castellodiamorosa.com/

@Jay Hinrichs  - I would be happy to get the names those awesome lesser known wineries

@Samuel Peden Welcome. There are plenty of meetups in the Bay Area and a few coming up next week as well.

@Chiagozie Fawole Congrats!!! I have a few questions as I will be in the market for similar property soon.

What kind of due diligence did you do prior to buying the property?

Did you do the inspection yourself? How much did the inspection cost?

How did you find the management company?

Was securing the mortgage difficult?

Did you buy this at the asking price or did you negotiate? Any insights into your negotiation.

If you want, you can pm me the answers to these.

I think the access ramp is also playing a role. I am in the market for a house as well and I will skip yours without even looking inside. That's my honest opinion

@Jose Castillo @Shanel Wiggins

Most of the places would not accept a credit card for down payment (business or personal) as the credit card companies charge 1-3% extra.

How will you show your HML that you have money for downpayment? Also your lender may require the downpayment coming from your bank account and ask for proof after the downpayment is in escrow.
