Hi Alli.  We try to keep these meetups very informal but certainly welcome anyone and everyone interested in real estate investing, no matter where their focus lies.  We have had other lenders join in the past.  Please join us if you are interested, we just ask that the discussions stay informal as we don't attendants to feel they are getting pitched too.  If you want to hear more about it before making the trek down from SLO, feel free to give me a call (numbers in the event description) or message me directly.

This is the fifth Santa Barbara Real Estate Investment meetup in this series. It is an informal opportunity to sit down with others who share your excitement for real estate investing. Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it tonight. I recruited some folks from the Ventura REIA meetup last night so should be a fun crew. Also I noticed that I scheduled this for the wrong Thursday so sorry for the confusion. We will be back to the third Thursday in November.

@Charles Cooper - it is this Thursday at 6pm.  You can find the info in the event description above. Looks like it would be a bit of a trek for you if you are down in San Pedro, but would be great to see you there!

@Spencer Cole - An STR in Carp would be dreamy! They are super strict (which I am sure you know) so it would be tough to get in, but great if you could do it. I looked at 4822 9th St last weekend and it would be the perfect STR thanks to its unique shack style and the fact that it is in the middle of two commercial lots (no noise complaints). Less perfect as a long term rental since it a super old construction style with absolutely zero insulation. As much as I personally would love an STR, I wouldn't choose to buy a place where I would have to rely on STR income. Now the 8th St house really has my attention!!! Thanks for sending. Might have to check that out. And I know who we'd use as our agent if we went for it ;-).
