In NJ, the owner of the property can be found on the website http://www.njactb.org/
If ownership changed hands, it will take a month or two for updates.
Mail first class, and get the returned mail, and that is what you may want to skip trace on!

You are in NJ. You have a "3 day attorney" review by law, and your attorney can make any changes you and him discuss. For instance you will not close until property is vacated. If u need an RE attorney or two and are in North Jersey hit me up and I can give you some. Your Realtor probably should have already though.

Sorry I am a KW agent, and I disagree with James. Advertising (passive & expensive) is not important, but calling or door Knocking (being active - low cost) start with expireds, absentee owners and FSBO's! Good luck!
