The only one I have attended is NOREIA. I have seen one other on Meetup called "Buying, renovating, flipping New Orleans houses fun & profit" but I have never been to it. Anyone else been to it?

@Carlos Burgo You need to get with an investor friendly title company that can go over the process with you and provide you the proper legal forms. You will need the forms and title attorney when it comes time to close and do the assignment anyway. There are many title companies in the GNO area that are investor friendly, but many are not and they won't even know what you mean by "wholesaling". Many local investors use David Birdsong at Gulf South Title as he is also the president of NOREIA.

@Chace Mott NOREIA is a great place to learn and to meet lots of other local investors. It is fairly inexpensive also. The cost is $75 to join and then $10 per month. The meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month and begin about 6:15pm with about 30 minutes of networking time. The meetings officially start at 6:45pm and in the beginning of each meeting they allow for a sort of "open mic" period where anyone can speak to announce properties they have to sell, what they are looking to buy, or just give an example of a recent deal they have done.
