Hey @Matthew Jackson!!! It's cool to hear that you're interested in house hacking multifamily. DO NOT WAIT! The longer you wait, the longer you don't have any Real Estate. Chances are that right now because it's such a hot market you won't be cash flowing very heavy if it all. Revert back to your goal and what you want to accomplish. Is your goal strictly cash flow? Or is it to get a property under your belt? Because as you may know, the property may not cash flow now but it will in the future as you hold on. And in the meantime, it'll provide you with a cheap housing expense as well as appreciation growth. Make sure your numbers are solid, and if they work, buy it! Hope that helps. Remember that you're always better off taking action :)

Never too late to start! You just have to keep figuring out the next step.

Before I worry about a market, I'd sit down and try to figure out what my specialty is going to be (Start with what interests you. This may change over time as you become more experienced). Multifamily buy and holds, apartment syndications, self-storage, wholesaling, flips??? The reality is that there is so much variety and you HAVE to niche down what it is you're looking for.

Once you crack down on that, you may find that picking a market will be a lot easier. Markets differ in being either an appreciation or cash flow market. You have to decide which one helps you hit your goals and then niche down on that one specialty. You'll see a lot more results that way! Feel free to PM me if you'd like to connect further!

Hey @Liam Floyd it's awesome to hear that you're wanting to invest in Real Estate! As a younger guy myself, I know exactly how you're processing your next step! The best thing you can do is take action! Make sure your numbers are solid and that the property can supply the income to take care of itself. Your first deal does not have to be a home run. More so it's a stepping stone in your investment journey that will allow you to learn hands-on! I'm based in Tucson so if this is a market that interests you I'd love to connect further. Feel free to PM me!

Hey @Zach Fridrich it's cool to hear that you're interested in the space! One of the quickest ways I learned about the RE Investing space was by networking with other people. Specifically, people who are in the market that you're interested in. They'll be able to give you the best advice being that they understand their market. Bigger Pockets was truly the only way I networked and it was very beneficial. I found most people to be very helpful and supportive. Best wishes on your journey and feel free to PM me if you'd like to connect further!

Hello @Alex Kanaval! Sounds like you have a great opportunity on your hands. Is this townhome going to be your personal residence in Tucson? Or do you already have another place in mind? This would have a great impact on how you decide to move forward.
