I want to scan my receipts, starting with this year, and store them on a jump drive.  Any better way to do this...  such as, should I keep them in folders by month....  by project....  by vendor (ie Home Depot stays together, utilities stay together....)  Any advice would be great!!  Also, anyone have a scanner they really love!!????  Thanks!

@Jason DiClemente yes, agree!
@Michael Thomas the people with section 8 tells the landlord the highest rent he's allowed to charge. So, yes, it can be more than what the government portion pays.

Now, the repo company isn't happy with the pre-qualification letter because it doesn't state how much money I'm planning on borrowing!

@Sam Hopkinsthat would be ok, but when you already have a closing date, it's very nerve racking. I still work a full time job, nights. My free time during the day is limited.... After today, signing paperwork, AGAIN, I found out that my original agent didn't really know how it worked! NOW, I know who to go with if I want to buy a foreclosure!

@Joe G. First, they didn't turn the paperwork in on time. Then they wanted to change the closing date, I said no, but they had to cross out the part in the offer that said they would insure it during closing. Then, that went ahead and changed the date farther out (instead if sooner like they wanted to), now, they say they need one more signature. I just didn't realize it was such a drawn out ordeal!

I'm trying to buy a foreclosure. The problem? I've been signing the same paperwork over and over since October 2! The repo company keeps changing things! Are all foreclosures this difficult!??
