Post: How do I sell my city-given Relocation Assistance contract?

The city of San Marcos (in San Diego County, CA) gave my client a $600k contract in addition to what he got for the sale of his business when they bought him out.
This contract is Relocation Assistance that is to be used to help build a new location. It is "financial assistance in the form of fee waivers and financing of public infrastructure requirements." This could be improving the sidewalks, beautifying the median, upgrading sewage, etc. That's what the $600k is for.
My client ended up doing a long-term lease for his new space and now has this contract just sitting there. How do I sell that contract and to whom?
The contract is assignable, provided that I "assign, transfer and/or sell all or part of...Relocation Assistance to a sales tax-generating use elsewhere within City's jurisdictional boundaries that is reasonably acceptable to City." In other words, it has to be sold to a business that will produce tax revenue for the city, aka a developer, yes?
How to do I find a company that wants to buy the contract and for what discounted rate should I sell it for?
Thank you!

Hello @Oliver Fang & welcome to BP!
I'm new myself, but can't recommend BP's "The Book on Rental Property Investing" and their Tax Strategies book. I don't work for the site or anything like that but I've been listening to their podcast and reading lots of books and those two, in particular, are great. They read like a manual and will really show you what it's going to take to be successful.
Good luck!

Thank you @Anthony Angotti and @Gregory Beaty for your responses!
I'm definitely a "planner" so it's true that I may be simply overthinking it. Due to the hassle (echoed by you both) I'll likely stick with it and hope I can turn it into a positive somehow.
Best,
Christian

Hello BP!
I've recently decided to take the plunge and go full-time at being a Real Estate Salesperson and I'm wondering - does anyone out there have insight into the pros & cons of going by my first/last name vs going by my first/middle?
Christian Efseaff vs Christian Daniel, respectively.
Obviously, my network knows me by my first/last & there could be some issues when it comes to legal documents down the road. Those are the only cons I can think of.
The pro is simplicity and ease of remembering my name as well as SEO.
Any insight is GREATLY appreciated!
