@Daniel Ryu I had to sign up for Twitter and Periscope but successfully joined your meetup. Thank you for sharing the information making it possible for me to join. It was great having a live conversation entering my living room since due to time differences I always have to rely on recordings. @Ben Leybovic was a very informative and gracious speaker.

@Paul SmytheThank you for your comment. I believe that at times we allow our opinions to be influenced by assumptions or perceptions. Doraville is largely populated by immigrants but that doesn't mean the crime rate is higher than in other areas. Good for you to be invested there. I think you're positioned to reap a nice reward in addition to how accessible your area is with the development as confirmed by @Account Closed.

@Daniel Ryu i am very impressed and intrigued as to how you're going to pull this thing off, especially with a guest speaker in the US. How are you managing the time difference? would you share access to your meetup either live or the recording? I would like to see this Periscope you're using.

@Matthew Pinkston I guess the tech question will need to be answered by the group we're able to gather and yes, we should start planning the November meeting. The venue of last meeting was perfect and "Haunted House" theme seems perfect! I'm sure we all have our personal horror story to share. The Thursday closest to Halloween is the 29th. @Emily Allen How did your project turn out? Any updates?

@Ror M. Don't know if you decided to pull the trigger or not in this area since it's been some time since you posted, but IMHO Blue collar is certainly not a bad thing as it describes working people, even if at a lower pay grade. Crime would be the concern and if it is not a war zone it will probably be a good rental area until the appreciation happens through the new development. Keeping in touch with @Paul Smythe would be a good idea as well as regularly driving, walking and visiting in general to get a feel for the different streets where you're considering investing.
