There are various options available for screening packages; tenant involvement/no tenant involvement, instant reports, hand-compiled reports, and even income verification. There are multiple options available for screening packages; tenant involvement/no tenant involvement, instant reports, hand-compiled reports, and even income verification. You can find further information by going to Tenant Screening under the Tools tab.

Also, it is not recommend to accept the applicants credit karma report. These reports can be falsified and also are what is called a pseudo score as opposed to an actual FICO score. To receive an applicants credit score, you will want your screening report to pull this information directly from a credit bureau.

Bigger Pockets actually has created a list of recommend property management companies and it might help to look through these and choose a company that would best fit your needs. If you haven't yet, I'd recommend reading Brandon Turner's "Book on Managing Rental Properties." It's full of helpful tips and pointers.

Also, Bigger Pockets offers tenant screening through a trusted partner. They have two options depending on what you are looking for; a tenant involvement and a no tenant involvement package. There are also very useful add-ons available like income verification. You can find further information by going to Tenant Screening under the Tools tab.
