- Hard work/Driven
- Commercial and residential leasing background
- Quick Learner
- Not afraid of getting my hands dirty
- About to take Real Estate Sales License for PA
- I am tired of sitting on the sidelines and seeing everyone get the ball and play in this industry. I am ready to suit up and carry the ball, just need a good quarterback to lead the way.
- I have no issue working on a commission basis to demonstrate how much of an asset that I can be to your company and your team.

Great idea! Can't wait to start reading them.
What about lending club or someplace like since it's a small amount?

Awesome first year @Alex M.!! Good luck moving into your 2nd year. Your story is definitely inspiring to all of us newbies. I am just starting out, don't have much capital built up yet but know this is what I want to do. Hearing your story, it gives me positive vibes that I know I am doing the right thing for me and my kids. Finding private money and forming good partnerships seems to be the key ingredient I keep hearing on BP. Any advice on how you found both?
Are you investing in the City or surrounding areas? I used to live in NE Philly years ago and know there are a lot of duplexes. Where I live now, in Collegeville, its more townhouses and single homes.

Thank you for all of the great advice @Ian Ippolito, @Brandon Romano, @Mike Moles, @Ayodeji Kuponiyi, @Jay Hinrichs and @Larry Fried. I'm really glad I found this community and to know that there are great people who don't mind giving advice and helping a newbie (Who now that I know what an accredited investor is WILL some day be one :-) )
Have a great day everyone. I look forward to getting to building my business and someday being able to help others the way you have helped me.
If anyone has other advice for new investors, I am all ears. I'm a single mom with 2 teenagers doing it on my own. I'm doing well on the day to day, its building for the future that I am focusing on now.

If you are still adding names, I am new to investing and this community. I'm in Montgomery County and interested in the surrounding counties and Lehigh Valley.
Thank you,
Christina
thanks @Shawn Washington :-)

I worked in Allentown up until 6 months ago and the rehab in Center City is amazing with all the new restaurants and businesses that have opened in the past 1-1/2 years. I heard they are looking to develop down by the waterfront as well. I was thinking of looking at this area to invest. Its definitely still a tough town but there is a lot of money being put into development and it was named as one of the up and coming small towns in the US so now would be the time to get into an investment.

Thanks Ian for the information. I am not accredited yet...but will be looking to get my accreditation. I am just starting out and trying to figure out the best way to get started as I am building my capital for my own projects. At the moment I have very limited funds so I wasn't sure if someone in my situation who is looking to grow funds to later invest into their own projects would be able to jump in this way as a way to get started.
Also Thank you for sending me the link to your website. I looked around it a little and when I get more time later today will go thru it further. It definitely has a lot of useful information. I recently looked at LendingClub myself and thought it was an interesting idea. Do you manage any crowdfunding investments yourself?
Have a good day,
Christina
