Thanks, @Thomas S. For the area and the price I intend to charge, I am hoping whomever buys it will keep it. It's family property that I finally got the title clear on a couple of years ago. Too small to build on and not in a growth area. At minimum, my plan B is to collect rent until it sells.

Again, thanks for the suggestions. 

I plan to put a mobile home on a piece of property I have and intend to rent to own the property. I would like to get suggestions for terms to include in the agreement. I plan to have an attorney look it over, but I am hoping to find suggestions from others doing this in Louisiana.

I am in Houma and looking for deals. Not really hard, due to current workload, though.

Welcome to BP, @Chad Notariano, from Houma, La! I'm a newbie to Real Estate Investing also. I would recommend listening to the podcasts, defining some keyword alerts, and consuming as much of the forum as you can. I would also advise reading @Brandon Turner's "The Book on Rental Property Investing". It covers a lot of what you should know if you plan on owning rental property as an investment.

Welcome to BP, @Allen Alix! I am a newbie investor/barely experienced landlord from Houma. As stated above, the podcasts and forums contain LOTS of information, more than enough to answer any questions. If the answer isn't there already, just ask the question and someone will provide it.

Also, @Brandon Turner's Book on Rental Property Investing is a good primer for Buy & Hold investing.
