We have a grocery store chain here that prints ads on the back of their receipts.  The thing I wonder is "who calls a company based on an ad on a disposable piece if paper?". Most people throw those away as soon as they get them.

There are other problems with this such as the fact that it isn't targeted at all.  Who is to say that anybody who actually takes the time to notice it actually needs your services?

Also, as with all print advertising, there is no way to actually track the number of views.  This is a huge problem in tracking the effectiveness.

I'm betting AdWords and Facebook ads would have a better response rate, be more targeted, more trackable, and be more cost effective.  That's a lot of money to spend on ads with no way to tell if it works.

What reverse lookup services have you guys had great success with for finding expired listing owners or private investors? I can find the addresses from the MLS or the county clerk. I just need phone numbers. So what's the best service to get them?

Sorry: "I'd be really interested in hearing from a LandVoice user."

I'd be really interested in a LandVoice user, for sure.

Yeah, it seems hard to justify the costs on some of these things, especially FSBOs because they are so easy to find on Craigslist and local newspaper sites.  The expireds are much harder to find, and so the costs would be more justified, however the quality needs to be there or it's not worth the money.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to see which service provides the best quality of leads: theRedX vs LandVoice vs ArchAgent.  Does anybody have any experience with these companies to help me compare?

The prices are pretty comparable, give or take $10-$20 here and there.  I know ArchAgent has the 800# and Text lead capture programs, which would be really nice to additions my marketing efforts, so I'm kind of leaning toward them, but I'm wanting to make sure that the quality of FSBOs and Expireds ArchAgent lists is just as good as the others.  If so, it's a clear winner, but if not, I might split the services between providers.

Thoughts?

Do lots of practice tests, time yourself, and score yourself.  When you can pass the medium difficulty practice tests, you're probably ready.  Only study the material from the questions you miss.  After a few practice tests, your knowledge gaps will have filled in pretty well.  I did this and passed the first time I took it with no problems.  But I failed the first couple practice tests really badly.  It just takes time and studying.
