@Treivor Cashion , welcome! I took a pretty similar educational path, but wish I had the foresight to become interested in RE so early in my life/career. Oh well, better late than never! I love multi-family, it's changed my life and will continue to do so!

I'd be happy to take a look. I have an MBA in finance, and used to create/run pretty complex financial models in my Corporate Finance days.

I would suggest either joining a team, or getting a coach/mentor to start. Just don't make a long-term commitment, so you can have the option to change should the fit not be right for whatever reason.

Michael, I'd suggest you take a look at eXp Realty, which has been called the Amazon of real estate by industry visionary Stefan Swanepoel. Our business model features 4 key disruptive elements:
1) Agent ownership - we provide our agents w/ stock grants in EXPI, which was up ~400% Y/Y last I checked
2) Revolutionary lead generation tools Kunversion and Commissions Inc., which would be prohibitively expensive to purchase independently
3) cloud-based, virtual reality campus that offers ~30 hours of training per week
4) Lucrative revenue sharing plan that offers a realistic exit plan from the business within 3-5 years.
We nearly tripled our agent count last year, and are creating wealth and passive income for our agents that's unprecedented in the industry. Feel free to PM me for more information.

Richard, I started as an investor, and have experience in wholesaling, rehabs, rentals, seller finance, sub 2, and multi-family. Let me know if I can help or if you'd like to talk.
