Hi:

I have had a good experience in Indianapolis. The state laws seem even handed unlike California where the tenants have all the rights. Also, there are a few large commercial projects going on that will bring more jobs to the area.

Hi Dmitriy:

Yes, pet fees are charged on my properties. Generally speaking, a $250 security deposit for each pet and $30-40 per pet per month. As you know, pets can cause a lot of damage internally and externally (think killing the grass or stinking the turf). Hope this helps.

Hi Sarang:

I am out of state too. Did you find any contractors in the Fort Wayne area?

Thanks,

Chris

I am helping my in-laws manage a rental property. I'm on great terms with my in-laws and I am just helping out so there is no formal property management agreement. It is time to renew the lease. The tenants don't really know them. However, whose name should go on the lease? I am guessing their names, right?

Thanks,

Chris

The podcast was great. Everyone is very inspirational and pushes me towards financial freedom.

Hi All BPers (especially in Southern California):

Does anyone have contractor recommendations in Orange County, CA? I have a project in Santa Ana that I need a contractor.

Thanks,

I’m looking to expand the business into the Kansas City area market. Does anyone have recommendations for area property managers and can you talk about your experience with them? Thanks
