Today I started to track the new book I just purchased from Amazon, The Book on Flipping Houses. Should be here by Wednesday.

I read the How to

@Marc Ramsay You know it. It's also the same face I have when I find out my girlfriend and mother want to hang out together.

@Marc Ramsay oh well, yes. That would be correct. :)

I have never worked with Wells Fargo on a Real Estate or Investing level. Having dealt with them on a personal level, as they are my personal banking location, I can tell you that they can be very difficult at times (as I'm sure most banks are.)

@Marc Ramsay There is no Summit County but there is a town called Summit and it's located in Lexington County.

Does this site help you any? REO Wells Fargo (Hopefully it will take you to the exact page I was viewing without you having to fill in all the details.)

I am not 100% that is correct either as it is a good hour and half away from Fort Mill, SC.

@Brandy Y. , is it too late to join this party? I'm just starting out in the Upstate area myself. I've got nothing on these regulars but the plan is to become one of them.

@Marc Ramsay , this may sound stupid (as I don't know all that you have tried yet) but have you tried the York County Tax Assessor's Office?

Welcome @Neil Harding from Topeka! Or is it Google? (I jest.)

Let me tell ya, when I have a question I do a search and try to see if it's already been asked. Having grown up on forums I personally hate cluttering them with repeat postings, but that's just me. If it's been asked I ask more questions and if it hasn't been asked, I ask it myself and the responses are always quick and wonderful. My suggestion would be to make sure you ask follow up questions.

Don't forget to check out the BiggerPocket Podcasts as well for great information you can listen to where ever you are.

I ask this because I noticed that the PRO forum isn't as active as the regular forum. My guess would be because there are more free members then PRO members. I just wasn't sure which one I should be frequenting more or if I need to check them both out as often as I can.

I apologize for any silly questions but I live by the motto: "When in doubt, ask."

I envy those that don't need a list. I need a list to know where I kept my list but like you said, we are all different.

I guess my follow up question, not to make it seem like I was trying to take over the thread from @Bryan L. (I wasn't. I swear. Your initial post brought me over here.) How do you calculate what is a good amount to make? I hear about the 30% rule, but I'm still thinking in Dollars per Hour. Years of being a slave to the paycheck perhaps? Or is it completely personal as to what makes the difference between "I got my moneys worth." and "I barely pulled out by the skin of my teeth."?

Welcome @Josue Rodriguez ! I just started on this site myself and I have to say that I am getting addicted. I agree with @Brandon Turner , you need to check out the podcasts. That's how I found this place and I learned a ton of good information from those.

And the information here is just as abundant, if not more so, then the welcome you are receiving.

So, again, welcome Josue! I hope you enjoy this place as much as I have been and I look forward to comparing our success stories!
