Hello all We bought a property in September 2016. We just finished the rehab; it took too long due to some unavoidable things. We are still in our budget though. I would like to know the tax consequences in my situation; 1. If we sell it right away 2. Rent it and then sell it after a couple of years 3. Do a seller finance( it is all paid off) Please advice for maximum tax advantage. Thanks Deepika

Marcia Maynard,Patrick Liska thanks for the input. seller disclosure here asks if there ia a death in the house in last 3 years(yes/no). so we could just say no.

Hello BP Opened an escrow yesterday for my first deal I got from my driving for dollars. Excited!! Looking at a 12 unit property also. What kind of inspections should I be doing before I make up my decision. This would be my first multiple unit.... Cash flow is decent. Offer is in; what inspections are suggested? Whole building inspection? Or is it anything else too? Thanks for any advice friends.
