@Garrett Grove - I just got a job as an RN, however; my net is 25k when all is said and done. In addition, my net worth is approx -57,000. I've calculated that with overtime and a per-diem position, I may be able to increase my income to 38,400 this year. Yearly fixed expenses are $17,160, so I will have something left over to invest.

Hi everyone-

Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. Just graduated college last year with a nursing degree, and have long been interested in building net worth and also working for myself through real estate.

Moved from Chicago to NC for a nursing job, and am now researching what it will take to make an educate leap into the world of real estate investing.

See you on the forums,

Dylan

Hi Guys,

I graduated college last year, and am planning to invest in real estate, but the issue right now is a negative net worth due to student loans.

Is it even possible to start out this way, or recommended to pay the loans down first?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
